I'll have to check to see if this is on the Canadian Netflix.. oddly we don't always get all of the Netflix Originals.. sounds like an interesting show, and I've been looking for a new one to watch

You are not the only one. I think I have to recalibrate my quality settings. But I find the series not as well written as many critics describe it. I find the directing somewhat clunky, the cinematography quite amateurish (I have noticed at least three scenes where I personally expected to see an element in that scene become more important, just to see it vanish into the background), the constant easy listening score gets on my nerves.
However, I am at episode 5, and I am curious how it continues, but I am not sure that I can endure the low-level craftsmanship much longer.

time travel becomes absurdly overused. When everyone and their brother can come back in time, why bother "fixing" the future when the whole of humanity can just pop back into the present? Besides, they were supposed to have solved the problem in the middle of the first season. Why are they still coming back?
