Transaction gone wrong: TK-4140

(I sent an email regarding this to one of the Moderators/Admins but didn´t get an answer).

A looong time ago (December 2008) I purchased some items from Guido, user TK-4140 here on the RPF:

- Rein One ANH Vader cape and robe
- Batman fins for Panther style gloves

To this day I have not received them.

I have sent too many PMs and emails to him but he has not responded to a single one.

I can see he is now selling some more items in the Junkyard:

I have sent him more PMs and emails after I saw this but still no replies....

I have written proof of our transactions regarding the items mentioned above.

Good luck with getting the issue resolved, judging by Matts thread though i can't see Guido being very helpful or forthcoming, at the very least the staff here should suspend any future or existing sales threads in the JY whilst these issues are being worked out.

I'm going to cross link the two threads running on Guido right now for reference. I know Guido has a lot of supporters, as he has had MANY transactions that DO go well. I've had one with him myself. But that does not excuse or forgive what is starting to look like a pattern of bad dealings and poor communications.

Hopefully the mods will see fit to take some action.

I have sent you the shipping paper with all infos month ago as I exactly shipped it low valued as you liked to got it ship. On every item I shipped in my hole life and about 20 years of prop collection I could proof and do with sending the shipping paper as PDF file.

And to the Batman fins I explained you more than one time that these item would be produced by Phantombatman at the BOTB and he would sent them directly to you. The reason why he not did that till now is and was that he was very ill over lot´s of month but I also gave you that infos before.

O.k. fine as the bad guy I ´m I contact the the mods now and ask them to delete me from that board here imidiatly as I realy don´t need that.

I have gotten ripped off with items that were misrepresented before. Give the guy an oppertunity to make it right (like it seems you have) and then file a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center.

Yes misrepresenting an item as something other than what it is does amount to fraud and is illegal. Will this get you a refund right away? Likely not but if it happens a few times eventually they will prosecute the person.

Different guy Steve they just happen to have similar first names, Guido/Guidon.

For what it's worth Guido it's my experience that people here are very tolerent and forgiving to people that face up to problems and fix them.
It's clear that the item you sold Matt is not what he was led to believe it was, why not refund him and sell the item again properly described it won't cost you anything.
Obviously DownInFlames hasn't taken delivery for items he paid money to you for in dec of last year, you might very well have shipped some items but he never recieved them, he's not responsible for that you are, if the items lost in transit it's your responsibility to send another or if not possible then refund him.
you acted as a third party taking payment for the fins, it's your responsibility therefore to chase up the manufacturer as it was you that took payment.

You strike me as the kind of person that will blame anyone or anything other than yourself for failings which are obviously your own.

Guido, this is simple, step forward and contact me so that we can work this out (I´m being very open and patient here....)
If you can´t deliver the items you committed to then I expect a refund.

I went through all of the e-mails we exchanged and here is a summary with dates of what basically happened. (I deleted the e-mail addresses and replaced them with our names, GUIDO and NICOLAS for privacy reasons).

Sorry to hijack this thread too (seems there is a couple like this recently)
I bought and paid for an animatronic predator wristblade set up from Guido via The Hunters Lair back on the 9th November 2008 and have yet still not recieved anything except excuses. Guido claims to have been ill back in December onwards, but had my animatronic "85% ready" many months ago. I have since tried to contact him numerous times with no success.
As he may be reading this thread I thought I would try and get his attention here!
Guido, please contact me regarding this, 9 months for this is getting ridiculous, my girlfriend could have made a whole working fully biological human being in that time!

Sorry if this is against any rules, but I am kinda running out of options short of legal action. I would much prefer this to be sorted out like adults if possible....
