Ok, this should be THE BIGGEST CROSSOVER since Turtles Forever.

How do you **** up the 2D animation THAT BAD???? It sholdn't look WORSE than the 1987 pilot! THIS IS NICKELODEAN FOR GODS SAKE.
A Multi BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY... and they treat the 80s animation like THIS?

Seriously, that's the worst raph drawing I've ever seen..It's like the Korean company that did it made a mistake andthey didn't bother to do
corrections.

Also, the ONLY problem I have with Turtles Forever, was with how the 80s Turtles where treated. Crybabies. Non ninjas. pizza on their mind 24/7. LITERALLY. they where caricatures of everything bad that people who think down o nthe turtles form the 80s think they where about. And that happened because it's a known fact that Peter Laird HATES the 80s Turtles. Yet, they got the villains down perfectly. go figure.

It seems the same thing is happening here. Treating the 80s turtles as lame goofballs. that's not funny..that's sad.
Considering the creators of this show are only fans of the mirage turtles... Iexpect them to be total bad asses when they show up in this if the rumor is true.

I'm going to re-animate that last Krang shot with my models..I bet it'll look ten times smoother.

I figure they were really just trying to "draw on" the common mistakes that got made during 80's cell animation....

I remember having some of the same gripes you had about Turtles Forever and thinking to myself, "Were they really this goofy when I watched it back then?" They weren't as serious to begin with but yea, I think they were made out to be the silliest incantation of the Turtles for the series(and ever).

there where other ways to do that.....

As BatMite might point out.. missing arms. wrong colored masks.....voices on the wrong character...
But Krang stepping on a light crack in the road and falling over? even Turtles Forever didn't do that.


the odd thing was, the Nick Turtles 2D Didn't seem to suffer as bad. the 80s turtles where just EXTREMELY off model for it to look good.

I was worried this might happen though. the guys in charge of the show have stated they really only care about the Mirage turtle era. anything else they probably don't put as much effort into it, and it shows here.


Having finally seen the episode...the first half was rough, but as soon as it got past the first 5 minutes or so, it got a little better.
I just wish that other shows would stop looking down on the 80s turtles. they may not have been as 'violent' as the others..but they still got the job done..
