Re: TPM Yoda Lightsaber scratchbuilt

Nice work on that activation box. I've made two myself, and they're a pain.

Russrep did a run of Praco endcaps to replace your black Bolsey one. He might still have one or two. He also did aluminum emitters, but I had a real lambo wheel and vastly preferred it, personally. Nothing against his work, which is awesome, I just wanted the real deal if I could get it. Still, if you want one, he might have it still.

I've been looking around and only find the lambo model kit and is very expensive, a resin or aluminium replace would be fine.
I think the endcap is the right one but only black, it has "knuckles" ? and the meassures are just like some plans that i find online, it can be unpainted with Acetone, but i dindt do it yet.
I also have another bolsey but this one has another endcap, more wide and without the "knuckles" all smooth surface.

Re: TPM Yoda Lightsaber scratchbuilt

The black endcap is anodized/painted aluminum? Huh, I've never seen that variation before. Very cool.

Re: TPM Yoda Lightsaber scratchbuilt

Hi there,

That looks rather great!

May I ask where you got that carburetor's chicler from? Or where I can find one too?

That's the only piece missing from my Yoda 'Bolsey' lightsaber.

Ciao,

Hi there,

Thanks for the link. I'll also check my local motor bike shops from now on.

You may google PEM NUT and look through the pictures to find a supplier.
And indeed the Fujimi Lamborghini Countach 1/16 scale are there to find
on ebay but can be quite expensive.

Nicely done!!!
It takes me back to the days when Steve and I made the original.
Again...GOOD JOB!!

Resize your pics! They are very low quality for their size. Shrinking them might help clean them up.

Thanks for the inspiration ed-209! :thumbsup

Great job! I am glad I found this thread, as I just picked up a bosley flash a couple of weeks ago and was going to start on it soon. I was lucky enough to get the lambo wheel but my activation box was not the correct one. Very close, I am going to have to do some work on it to get it correct. I was lucky also cause the person I got it from had praco endcaps. I was going to attempt to make my grips the same as steve and ed did. He has three others left and I was thinking about grabbing them to hold onto as they are fun ones to work with. Anyway, dont want to highjack the thread, but like I said I am glad I found this one tonight! It put a flame under my rear to start on mine! And once again, great job on yours.

I have some good pictures of some bosley flashes complete if you want to see more of them with the black endcap.
