Toy Story Woody 1996 Toy Question

Hi, not sure if anyone knows the answer. But, does anyone know what kind of battery the Woody toy from 1996 ran off of? I opened mine to find a loose wire. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Damn - i just opened one a couple months ago. I thought it was just a simple double a, but after thinking about - that can't be right.

If I can find the box - i'll take a look.

I'm not sure if we have the same one, but mine has wire in the limbs and runs on 2 AAAs

Ah, thanks, I believe it is the same one, but, I'm missing the black part! It's just the wire from it! Is there anything I can do?

I would think you could get a 2 cell aaa holder at radio shack and solder the wires together.

Yup. Just make sure the holder connects the batteries in series. Most are, but just in case, the setup should be:
[white wire from Woody][+battery-][+battery-][black wire from Woody]

...if that makes sense
