I ordered a model from totalnavy.com. I just looked at my bank statement and realized I was charged almost double what the model should have cost. (It's not even here yet.) When I ordered I got an email from one of their people asking if I had ever built a resin model before. I told them no that I had plenty of nice folks here I could ask for help. They told me I'd need some book on model ship building. I told them I didn't want it. Well guess what???? They charged me for it. I just left them a message and had better hear back from them tomorrow. Anybody else ever deal with them?

Normally when I make an order like that and they ask me something stupid like if I've ever built one before, my respons is usually "ofcourse, I do these all the time" that way I don't get screwed into buying something I didn't want, even if you do ship it back for a refund it still jacked shipping rates on the way to you, and on the way back.

Wow, that's crazy! Thanks for the warning. Let us know how it turns out!(hopefully with them pulling that out of the order.)

Doesn't the law say if you're sent something you didn't order you can keep it with no charge?
