TOS Trek Bio-Computer

I just finished a replica of the bio-computer from TOS. This thing was seen throughout the series in many different places but most notably it was seen in "Miri" as the bio-computer, in "Tomorrow is Yesterday" as the very affectionate computer in Kirks quarters, in "Operation: Annihilate?" when Kirk realizes that it is light that destroys the creature and in "Omega Glory" as McCoy tries to find whatever. Most of the series it was seen in McCoys lab. If you are deranged you can read about it and all of the TOS computers here:

Here she is!

Everything functions like on the original prop except all of the lighting is LED and the circuitry is solid state. The only additional things are that in the side slot if you slide a petri dish in an ultra-violet LED comes on and also there is a part that slides over the top light thing to convert it to the "Miri" configuration which had a big black ball looking thing there instead of a light.

Feeking sweet! Great link too. I am a trek-wh... aficionado. I appreciate the info and the awesome picture of some awesome TOS-goodness.

Fantastic! I'be been wanting to build some of the Trek computers for a couple years now. I started reverse designing them on SketchUp, but haven't gotten around to building them yet.

Glad to see your post! I think I remember seeing some of your stuff on TrekPropZone, and it looked cool there, too! :)

Wow. I just had to stare at it awhile. Beautiful! :love
And the depth of information on your forum is beyond amazing! :thumbsup

Yes, nice... Now please return it to the set where you took it from! Sheesh, some people!!! :unsure

At first I couldn't figure out what that feature was on the front panel between the numbers and the indicator lights, but at second glance it was obvious you caught the reflection of your central air ceiling vent in the reflection... :lol
