That's all for today I think.

Your colors prove to be dead-on precise! Need a little more light bouncing off the windows there, though...

You know... I considered overpainting the window decals with fluorescent white acylic paint but decided against it. Just too much work and they could have turned out looking painted on especially if the windows frames were out of square even a little bit. Would have made them appear to brighter though.
For the Defiant I will drill out and light all the windows.

I painted all the windows on my Art Asylum toy Enterprise, and they always look bright in photos, even in the background... and it was plain old flat white.

I suppose I could give it a shot. It's acrylic paint so I could always wipe it off if it didn't look right. And it really would make the windows glow.

Well, it took me four days to do mine working round robin over the ship. 120 or so windows goes slow- it's like watching paint dry. It is watching paint dry. And the endless taping.
I found it worth my time.:cool

If I do it I'll be freehanding it. Figure I'll use a fine brush to apply the paint and then clean up with a moistened microbrush to square up the corners.
This will take more time but I don't want to use masking tape over decals and risk pulling the decals off when I remove it.

Yes. Her most majestic angle in my opinion.

The breadth of the saucer is reminiscent of the spread of canvas seen when the old clipper ships were cracking on under full sail...

or with the imposing bow of the nuclear carrier shown here...
