TOS BSG "Wingship" replica

Here is my studio scale 'Wingship' replica that was seen in the original Battlestar Galactica series. We see it right after the Colonial Movers passes by when they show the rag tag fleet passing by.

It's pretty much entirely scratchbuilt, with many of the usual kits used on the orignal Galactica and rag tag ships.

The base model is a 1/32 F-86, with the wings in reverse direction and upside down. MANY, MANY thanks to Mr. GKvfx for sharing pictures of the actual filming miniature.

I tried to recreate the dirty feel of the ship, but it's not 'exact' on the weathering.

Got to see this at WF and it is waaaaay cool. It always looked so big on the screen but it's just a little model....awesome work as always!

Very cool to see something less common.

Space:1999 hawk missiles so close to the engines isn't so good :eek. Theys gonna ecksplode.
