Torchwood / Dr Who - Capt. Jack RAF Identity Card

Hot off the presses. Something Jack should have certainly had during wartime - his RAF ID card.

How can Jack get any work done with a desk like this?

As I mentioned, it's blank - I figured some of you might have an idea of what to put in there - I've got to track that info down. Also, they're hand written, other than the serial number (which is stamped), so printed would look wrong.

Back text is about 99% correct - I was working from a blurry pic tho. ;).

Print at 40% on blue/grey or buff coloured card. There is a thin border to help when cutting out, but you could easily trim it off in Paint or something if your printer doesn't print back to back exactly (mine doesn't either.).
Measures roughly 2 1/4" by 4" when printed and folded.

Shows the buff colour. A quick google will find a few more pics.

Same ID card was also used for allied volunteers, so would also work for a Memphis Belle prop. :)

Lemme know what you think.

Pic bump. :)

Closeup of my proto version - just ballpoint ink - going to use a fountain pen, and practice writing in a different style. Also printed at 40% - a better size, I think.
Scuffed and scraped the card, and dirtied it up a little, just seeing how much the card could take and what works best.

John Barrowmans birthday is March 11th, 1967, so I used that, backdated to '07 (making Jack a sprightly 100 years old - according to the RAF ;) ). Also used JBs birthdate for the serial number, with the initial B.

Card number is 51 for Jacks century, 41 for the year he went missing, and 06 for when the Torchwood series began.

Major R. T. Davies was the issuing officer. >ahem<

Preview of my stungun, alien cell, Torchwood keycard, Jacks' Case File and a slightly reworked Safe Handling of Alien Objects leaflet:

Nice Torchwood/Captain Jack stuff, can see you've been real busy, LOL.

Thanks for the ID card images too, nice work, hope you can find the additional info to fill in the card details.

Thanks Roughneck.

I'm sure there's something about where Jacks stationed in 1941 in Empty Child / Doctor Dances... I'll have to check the scripts book.

Meanwhile, here's the Case File coverpage, and the Safe Handling (reworked from the Torchwood website PDF):

These are epic, Made an account just to comment. I any chance of making versions of the other flyers brochures etc in the future.

Coz:

thanks for the docs. I have bulletin board that is set up with Dr. Who, Torchwood items. Kind of like a tracking board. Definitely will add the Safe Handling document!
