Tomy TOS Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser waitlist

Let's hope so!!!!!!
I have no doubt it will be lovely, but I question the price for what this model is. I have paid up for the Refit and would immediately pay the same money for a TMP K'tinga or Kronos 1 but for just a TOS D7, not as inclined. I signed up to get info but only because I am curious. And if I want screen accurate, I don't dig the green engine lighting.

One needs to buy at least three to surround your Enterprise. Glory to the Empire!

Do we have a price? Haven't seen one yet. I'm probably blind.

I agree. The 700 price tag seems a bit much, as the The Refit was the same price with seemingly more complexity.

That being said I’m 99% percent sure I will get one as I think it’s a fantastic design, but the video release of the ship in action will be the final decision maker. The video should showcase all the features and final build, which will push me the final 1% or totally turn me off. Hoping for a great presentation.

AND hoping THAT TOMY INCLUDES A WORKING GLOWING HOT RED TORPEDO LANUCHER!

What is a "TORPEDO LANUCHER!" ;)

Maybe the tariffs are causing the $700 price. At any rate I'm getting one. :)

I feel like the TOS and Refit were crazy bargains. I hope TOMY can make some money from the D7 so they continue the Star Trek line.

$700 for a nice die cast 1:350 D7 isn't the same bargain, but I am happy with it. The quality of the TOS and DeLorean have been very nice.

I hope TOMY continues the Trek line of ships with prices under the 800 dollar range. Many want the Reliant, D, motion picture D7, SNW TOS enterprise…which I would love too…and A GALIEO 7…that I would really love…with interior all at reasonable prices.

Also I would love TOMY to get a SW license! Can you imagine diecast X wings, tie Fighters, Falcons, Y wings!!?

Battlestar Galactica, Space 1999 , Blake's 7 , UFO , and on and on and on and on ...................... ;) ;) ;)

I think TOMY is making a mistake not going for the K'tinga instead. Taking into account the numbers for the Refit Enterprise, that would have been a solid choice.

As someone who grew up during the TOS movies era in the 80s and who is a big TNG fan, I also enjoy TOS. But it's not at the top of my list. I can be talked into buying a TOS Enterprise probably, because it's iconic and the first. But a TOS Klingon ship? That's a non-starter for me, especially since the K'tinga has so much awesome detail on it. I would have ordered a K'tinga.

I mean, just look at the numbers:
  • The D-7 appears in 7 episodes of TOS, 8 if you count the Romulans.
  • The D-7 appears 4 times in TAS.
  • The D-7 appears once in DS9 and once in VOY.

  • The K'tinga appears in TMP, TWOK, TUD.
  • The K'tinga appears in TNG 4 times.
  • The K'tinga appears in DS9 9 times.
  • The K'tinga appears in VOY 2 times.
  • The K'tinga appears in Star Trek 2009.
  • As for nuTrek, the K'tinga appears twice in Picard and once in Strange New Worlds.
I'm sure I'm missing some.

So it's a bold miscalculation on TOMY's part: I feel like they've narrowed the interested parties to serious TOS fans only.
