Tom Swift

I know this question is a long shot - but - anyone ever see or make a model based
on any of the numerous inventions/ships from the Tom Swift Jr series of books?
I read these when I was little and just got to read through them again with my 8 year old.
Really got me to wishing I could put my hands on a model of a diving seacopter or
an ultrasonic cycloplane...
