Tom Sizemore in "End of Life" Care

Missed this news last week, but the actor suffered a brain aneurysm after a stroke on February 18th. Doctors are telling the family that nothing more can be done.

Well that's really sad. Loved him in Saving Private Ryan and Pearl Harbor as well as Law and Order that one was an incredible performance.

I know he was in plenty that I haven't seen; but my favorite that I DID see, is always going to be Black hawk Down. He was a lot of fun in that one.

Thought he was great in Heat, and even enjoyed him in Michael Mann's short lived series LA Homicide, I think it was called.

I'm just speculating here, but it may be the addictions that got him. Strokes & aneurisms are a problem for heavy stimulant users (cocaine, meth, etc). IIRC the elevated risk lingers for years/decades after they have gotten clean.

That was my guess too. It's a shame because I always thought he was really good in all the movies he was in.
