Tinting Visors?

I need to tint a visor, which is on a compound curve.
I have tried Window tint film, which works to a point, but wandered if there was anything else I could look at?
The film is hard/ impossible to curve right, and little dots of air can be seen still.
I need a very dark tint, and would prefer a spray can job...... :confused

You could try Tamiya sprays, I've used the clear orange for a visor and it has pretty even coverage.A few light coats of smoke tint(TS-71) might do the trick.

Cheers !
I was looking at automotive spray- for rear headlights etc- but thought it would be too foggy.
Will try the tamiya ....

A while back, someone used Rit fabric dye to tit clear plastic. I can not say that it will work for your visor.

Testors makes a window tint spray paint, but it comes in little cans that cost $4.50 each.:unsure

I've also heard of a way to tint Future Floor polish. Tint it, dip the plastic in and let it drip dry. Or if you have an airbrush, you can thin it down and spray it, which makes for an even distribution.

Check this link, it may have more info...
