Tinting Question

Hello fellow Rpf Modelers.

I have a question about tinting plastic windows such as those found in models kits. The curve on the window is too great for automotive type tint, and I have yet to find a good spray/ airbrush based tint to do the job. I was wondering if anybody thinks mixing a little black ink or dye with clear Future floor polish would work? Anyone ever tried anything remotely similar? Open to suggestions. Thanks.
