Timecop gun makers?

What is the story on this particular weapon? It had a laser sight in-body, which was cool, and was used on an episode of the Outer Limits. I'd try to mock on up but there's not much in the photo reference department. Has anyone gotten a good enought look to create a replica of one?

There are definitely replicas available. I got a kit from Alberta Industrial years ago; just a set of parts which fit over a standard airsoft Beretta. Really nice quality. (You have to figure the laser out yourself though.)

I've also seen the gun recently on Stargate Atlantis...

that gun has been on so many sci fi shows...

outer limits, twilight zone, stargate sg1 AND atlantis, it gets around :)

i got a kit a long long time ago in an apartment far away from AIM. was a terrific kit, and so smooth cast i actually had to rough it up with sandpaper to get the paint to stick ;)

they are out there, and they go over the shell of the airsoft berettas or sometimes "real" or blank firing ones. the laser would be a custom mod though. the bottom piece was a solid chunk o resin on the one i bought.

The pistol used in the movie is a Taurus, not a Beretta. The Taurus has a frame mounted saftey lever, and the Beretta's is slide mounted. The "Timecop" pistol was also used in the Nick Fury movie in a modified form. Taurus pistols are used in movies and tv shows, somtimes as Berettas because the are cheaper, and some claim more reliable than the Berettas.

Does anyone what the pistols were suppose to be in the movie? They showed the police in the (then) future using Glocks, but the Time Cops were using the special pistols.

David.

Yes it was built of a Taurus. Here is my version built around an airsoft Taurus. The grips are accurate as well.
