Time Bandits Polaroid

Has anyone put together a copy of the Polaroid that Kevins takes of the Bandits and the map?

I've just finished weathering one of the awesome maps that jheilman produces. Thought it would be cool to display with the polaroid. Did a quick Google image search and found a few pics of the group, maybe screen shots? (aspect ratio wrong for a polaroid). Perhaps one could be used to mock up a Polaroid print... or perhaps someone here has a better idea or reference images?

That's exactly what I'm talking about! Looks great!! Where did you find that image? Did you actually re-photograph it with a Polaroid, or take apart a Polaroid print and substitute your image, or did you mock it all up in some other fashion?

cut apart a polaroid and printed the image a teensie bit larger to overlap
the pic is taken from the side a bit
so it isnt perfect but good enough
when you print the image allow distortion to get the ratio

I've actually been working on a digital file that i manipulated to resemble the poloroid in the movie. It still needs some work but you get the drift. I moved heads and made the eyes looking at the camera and so on.

If you want I can send you the original file I'm working with..it's 72 dpi but it's 9x9ish so it looks decent as a polariod. Just PM ma with an email and I'll send it over. If you change it just post it so other can use it. BTW the shot on the right is from the movie.

Thanks to both of you for the help and ideas. I've got a stack of old Polaroids around here somewhere... I'll post the results after I'm done messing around with it all. Should look great displayed with the map!

I missed this thread. I made this Polaroid shot a while back to display with my map.

I don't have any old Polaroids around, so I know the sizing is wrong. I just made it a hi-res square. This shot is still not exact, but it's a better pose than the screencap. This shot is from the printed screenplay back cover. But, that shot has the gang cut out of their background. So, I had to source the screencap for a background and replaced it with limited success. Good enough for my display, but not screen accurate.
