Wow, I wish I had found this forum 6 months ago when I startet making my Alice costumes!! I'm just really psyched right now...:lol Browsing through the pages I mainly found Mad Hatters - are there some Alices around, too?
Here are my first sewing attempts (now I'm addicted, hehe):
The outfit Alice is wearing in the very last scene (skirt and blue coat) will be my next project - has anyone else done this one? Again, I'm soooooo glad I found this forum! I just hope my English is good enough, I'm from Germany... :$ So long!

Nice Chad! What did you use to weather your coat? It seems like a layered material ontop of your coat material?

The first photo made me LOL when I noticed the girl in the background on the right pulling the spider web off her butt. However, you still look brilliant as always Chad
That Jack Frost is BEYOND amazing!!! I love the snowy effect he gave the clothes!demolitionman75

I used two colors of a sheer material, a dark red and a sheer goldish tan, spot ironed them on and then burned it off with a lighter.

Nice costumes!
I don't think I've seen anyone do the dress Alice wears at the end of the film, which is a shame because her rick-rack skirt is awesome!

I did an Um from Umbridge Alice actually!! Ugh I so want to post it here but I entered it in the costume contest and I dunno.....I doubt it matters to anyone lol but I kinda don't want it to be seen beforehand lol. Although I have it posted all over my other accounts. Your Alices both look great though and I have definitely wanted to do her coat at the end of the movie!! I'd wear it as just a normal one. Maybe we can start a thread on it hehehe!

Lol! Alright I'll post a pic cuz I've just been itchin' to.....heheh....Mind there are still things that are not perfect....ARGGGG.....I was on a budget and a major time crunch....but overall I'm pretty happy....if I ever remake it I'll def try to find smaller pinstripe white and do the hearts smaller and probably paint them on instead of appliques....and find a better daisy ribbon that didn't get discontinued in the middle of me making it lol!
I hope the picture works as I seem to be having issues....hmmmm
