Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland Costumes

Couldn't find any more little snippers at home... 4 should be fine anyways...

I need some as well....

I'm going to order my coat tomorrow, and then I'll be left with just working on my hat, the contacts, and finishing my (unembroidered) pants. I'm still looking to see if I can find a cheap double breasted vest before Halloween though.

Also...Great news today. I was asked to be apart of a local buisnesses Halloween parade float. Just so happens the theme will be Alice In Wonderland! :D

The float will be on a trailer. It needs to be small enough to pulled by hand in our childrens' parade, and big enough to be considered an entry in our main parade.

I'm not for sure how big it will be....But does anyone have any ideas on ways/things to decorate it? I'm sorta pulling for a table or two to set up like we're having tea. I'd also like to have big colorfull Underland-esq. flowers and stuff around the sides and back of it. But I don't have any real solid thoughts yet. (Busy writing 3 essays at once right now, LOL.)

In a pinch color some foamboard cut them into giant flowers and voila flowers. Upholstry foam would make good mushrooms.

If you REALLY wanna get fancy and you have time styrofoam balls and cut the foamboard into petals. Some solid wire like hangars or thicker and wrap them using green plant tape.

will this weekend has been a good one think there is only a few little things i need to do and the costume is compleat !!!

finished the jacket and almost finished the waistcoat all thats needed now is the little blue ties under the kilt and my contacts !! i'll be having something a little different than most of you i'm going for these
Troll Contact Lenses
if i had the money i would go for these
Lillith Contact Lenses

ok not everything is the same as he has it in the film but i'm liking everything i have done !!

oh yeah wile i have them at work with me here is a pic of the rings and broch
i have made !! also a little peek of the jacket :love

I need contanct lenses! Where do I get me a good set?

Here's a few sets I found...

Louis Halloween Contacts | Theatrical Contact Lenses | Special Effect Lenses - CoastalContacts.com

Extreme SFX - Sexy Green

Black Wolf

Makes me wish I could wear contacts but my eyes don't tolerate them at all which is why I'm stuck with glasses. However, I'm thankful my eyes are already green so it's not so much of a big deal.

On a side note, I almost have my costume finished... should be at 100% by this weekend!

My fave float from Disneyland was an Alice float-it may give you some ideas for your own :)
This float had a trampoline center as the table top-thats why the chairs are along the side of the float.
But the lanterns, large scale leaves, and the the rest may help :)

Just incase anyone purchases the "Her Red Majesty" wig from Rabbit hole/Magic Rabbit (or whtever it's called) be prepared for a little disappointment. It's NEOON red, sewn quite unevenly, and is so fuzzy. True, a WHOLE lot of work may bring it around, but it's kinda of a disaster to start with, IMO.

Great makeup Kelikala!

I dig those first contacts.

Thanks :) I raided my 'regular' make-up and broke out some old eyeshadow colors I had but rarely wore. I may have to cake them on thicker next time though, because the colors are not as bright as I would like them to be in photos. I also want to make my own eyebrows from the hair on my wig instead of painting them but I haven't got around to that detail yet.

I dig those first contacts too, makes me sad I can't wear them.

I love your natural makeup too - looks fantastic

Hi everybody! I read your posts regularly, but I never posted anything because I'm French and my English is very bad... ^^'
I didn't know how to start my MH costume, I'm only 18 and it was my first cosplay. Here I found many great ideas, good links, pictures of beautiful costumes... and it really helped me!

SO THANK YOU EVERYBODY! =)

Here are some pictures of the result (it was in June, for the year-end show of my music school).
