I've now collected nearly every greebly used on the original TIE Fighter model. Many of these are rare, expensive, and/or out-of-production kits.
I'm looking to see if there are any other folks out there who would be interested in sets of greebly casts.
My plan is to make plates consisting of all parts needed for each component of the tie, plus a few extras. A few parts will also need to be cast separately. Individuals could buy sets corresponding to particular components a la carte (i.e. cockpit ball, wing star, hatches, wing cap etc.) or buy a full set.
Finally, there are a few kits that do not supply all the parts you need in enough numbers for a full TIE build. I will also make a plate that supplies these extras.
First on the block will be all of the greeblies for the cockpit ball and pylons. You can se here the plate with bonus top-hatch greeblies. These will be open-backed molds (though some two-sided for certain parts):
If there is sufficient interest, I will make plates for virtually every greebly used on the TIE that can be cast.
EDIT: Pricing details will follow once I've got data on material use. Based on similar runs, I would expect the full set of greeblies to be under $200 USD. Individual plates would be priced accordingly.
