Thundercats Sword of Omens - Full size replica - My build/upgrades step by step

I’d also love to find a way to add the spike part on the base of the blade you never ever see this bit of detail on any of them
Has anyone got a good way or idea of how to achieve this? 3d print, metal cast? View attachment 1935568
I’ve been thinking about this, and what I think I’ll try is 3D printing an insert piece for the blade, and casting it in pewter. I can’t do it for a while though as I’m presently workshopless!

How would you fit it to the blade? And will you offer them ? I’d love to get some on mine it’s pretty much the last piece required imo

Either glue/and or magnets as the blade is steel. I suppose I could make a few if it works out well and there’s demand for them.

I would definitely buy some if you
Make some it’s the last main part of detail that’s missing imo on these swords
So yes interested!!

Absolutely love these custom opaque emblems they look sooo much better than the original stickers,
From Etsy

Finished my thundercats display I decided not to light the sword but Instead get lighted signs
And some better emblems I also repainted the textured area in a greyish acrylic.

A cheap and easy way would be to make it out of plastic or wood and cover it with aluminum foil tape, the kind used for hvac ductwork. That's a cheap way to get a real metal look. Then attatch it with epoxy or whatever will stick to the blade.
