I Love the reboot of this cartoon. I saw this armor and wanted to do it.
The full suit will have electronics in it when its done. Some Led wire to make the
light up vein effects. Two lighting effects and a sound effect.
The lights in the chest plate and helmet will be a dim yellow glow.
When activated sound will do the thunder THUNDER THUNDER CATS HOOOOOO and the
lights in the chest and helmet will turn red with a cool down rate to were they return to yellow.

The sword I have plans for but want to finish the armor first.

Here is my progress so far.

I started by making patterns with Photoshop and transferring them to paper.
Then each individual Peirce was transferred to card-stock.
I did not have time to build a 3d model so I didnt use pepekura for this one.
All this was created freehand using Photoshop to get patterns.

You would like the reboot. Its more anime style but it deals with all the creatures on thundara. The character designs are neat.

Thanks for the comments. I hope to have it done by end of November.

Here is the chest painted . Working on the detail painting now.

So close to finished!
I am looking forward to seeing this done!

Hehe thanks. Cant wait to put it all together.
Still have a lot of work. Need to finish the arms and shoulders and thigh pieces.

Then add the foam to the body suit with the LEDs in it and rig all the electronics.

Starting on the claw sheilds which go on the arms. That eye of omens is just there to size the area.
The final one will be cast so Leds go in it.

The finger peaces will be separate cause they will be attached to a glove or eva foam.

Found Another way to seal gold paint without dulling it., Just use hair spray but it has to be a certain kind. Or you can just apply wax. If you if you apply any type of clear coat you will dull the shine almost instantly.
