Three-Fingered Robot Hand? (Pep or Foam)

Has anyone tried something like this? I know it's not really a "replica" costume, but I wasn't sure where else to post this. I'm working on a custom costume, basically a "mad scientist" with a replacement arm. I'm using Iron Man templates for the forearm, and it looks great, but the hand is a little too "ordinary". I'm trying to come up with a clunky-looking robot hand. Three fingers would be great.

Maybe something like the hand that the old TMNT "Turtlebot" had?

A pepakura file would be awesome, since I can convert that to foam pretty easily.
