Alrighty, I am not done glassing the inside of the crown so I won't show its interior, but the wing/cheekgaurds are done with their first step.

Feeling under the weather so I did not get much done today, however I will be back at it first thing Monday morning!

Here is where I am at:
Step 3: Recover from Bronchitis:sick
Step 4: Finish Glassing Crown
Step 5: coat external crown, and internal cheek guards/ with Bondo 3:1 polyester resin mix
Step 6: sand even, and add final details:confused
Then Mold, Cast, & Paint or plate....
Then Repeat! :confused

At this point most of the rough sanding on the crown is done. So I have to repeat that process still on the insides of the wing/ cheek guards as well as any touch up work before restoring the details in the middle of the crown.

definitely looking forward to seeing more of this helmet progress... what you've got so far is very promising, i almost regret throwing my rubies helmet away!
