This the way they were all made? (Trek DS9 tunic)

Just found this in an itsawrap auction. An O'Brien distressed uniform. There were lots of great reference pics of the uniform pieces including this one of the under shirt.

Do you think this was the way they made all the undershirts? Maybe just for the jacket costumes (not the jumpsuits)?

Talk about uncomfortable...

Weird... Although it makes sense since otherwise the tunic would probably bunch up during filming. Makes me think of Picard always adjusting his TNG top.
 
Nope, they weren't all made that way, only when they needed to be sure it wouldn't come untucked. I own a screen used one that just ends at the bottom like any normal shirt. Also, they made some others, that had a more comfortable leotard bottom type thing than that one for stunt purposes, that one's probably an anamoly.
