This one's for the LADIES!! My Ghostbusters costume WIP!!

AND COSTUME IDEAS FOR MY SISTER! Apparently what started out as a simple comment on Dan AKA's proton pack has turned into mine and my sister's FIRST COSTUME!!

Mr Beeb89 has had his made from scratch proton pack and costume for years. I have been wanting a female version of the costume. I have seen a few other pix of women in a GB costume. I like the shorts the best. I think they are hot and they look the cutest. So, help me out now...it's been so long since Beeb did his, he can't help me with the latest connections to get this costume done. Apparently I will need a flight suit (I can sew and do alterations, so it doesn't have to fit perfectly), the correct elbow pads, a name patch & GB logo arm patch...there is probably more, but I guess that is a good start.

Here is a pic of me and Beeb on a halloween when he wore his GB costume and a few pix of my sister (yes, she is single) that I hope will help in coming up with costume ideas for her.

over on GB fans there was a whole thread dedicated to Female ghostbuster costumes. ie, should they be like the boys (proper flight suit) or a bit sexier. Which are you girls gonna go for?

My sister is open to any costume suggestions you guys can come up with. I think the Ghostbusters outfit will be a little too involved for her. Not so much the costume itself, but definitely the proton pack. She had asked about possibly Wonder Woman, but she really doesn't know and is hoping you guys could help her come up with something cool and sexy. Any ideas?

As for me and my GB costume, as much as I respect "screen accuracy", I think the shorts and a little more form fitting is the way to go. I am not positive, but I think Beeb agrees with me.

This isn't exact, but more what I had in mind, only with shorts...not slutty, but very attractive. I want it to look like the GB costume Beeb has, just a female version. I want the belt and accessories that are authentic to the costume also.

I love the Janine idea! I will run it by her, but I think she may want individual recognition. If she goes to a party without me and Beeb, no one will know who she is.

If you got too short on the leg, where will you put the leg-hose attachment?

For my money it would be much more "fun" if the legs were fitted and you wore a pair of chunky lace-up knee-highs over them! (like These!)

As long as you don't take the "Daisy Duke" route, you should be fine with shorts. I think you'll still have room for the hose connection. YES, I want to go the shorts route!! :love

If you sister is looking for other ideas, might I suggest Harley Quinn? Super sexy, but still covered up (not that that is an issue, unless she plans on wearing it outside and wants to avoid the chill) and if she gets really drunk and starts giggling and laughing a lot, people will just assume she's in character!

is she looking for any costume idea? Is there a theme/style/con it's for?
I haven't seen any postings about anyone working on the White Queen for the upcoming Alice in Wonderland movie yet, that might be a good one.
If she's looking for something to wear with you in your GB, I think Gozar might be the best bet.
