Thinner foam availability? (Offline)

So I'm looking for thinner EVA foam about quarter inch in thickness. Are there any stores that sell it? Or is that going to be an online only thing? Unless there's a way to cleanly thin down the foam mats...

I was hoping to get some progress done this weekend but I need the thinner 1/4" foam and I was hoping I didn't have to wait for an order from online to ship

The only place Ive really found it in-store is hobby lobby. Those come in 12x18" sheets so you are a bit limited that way. They come in 2mm, 3mm, and 5mm thickness.

Cheap foam yoga mats are usually quite thin. I've used them a few times and they are usually about half the thickness of the checker plate foam flooring mats? Worth a look anyway

I got some foam sheets from Michaels that were about 3/16" thick, a bit thinner than 1/4" but might be workable for you
