I sign up earlier today. Your works is amazing, you guy have such skills!
I never did props before and wanted to make one.
As my first project, I was thinking, and you guys let me know what you think, to do the gobi sniper rifle from Fallout New Vegas, or the .357 magnum extended barrel from the cover.
Heres picture for those who dont know:

But since its my first project, do you think its to hard and too much work ?
I dont have accès to a 3d printer like some some of you seem to have access. I only have basic tool (exemple: jigsaw, etc)
What material do you guys would use ? mdf?
Any tips/ advice would be much appreciated!

Edit: And if you can guide with the basic step. I 've checked a couple thread on here but if you can describe me a little bit as where to start like to make plans or whatever. thank you
