THEWRAPOFCONS bad person to deal with

i think the wrapofcons has stopped posting here because its the pack of wolves effect he is probably to scared to post due to all the comments, many prop builders like him have ended up in this situation where they have bitten off more than they can chew, either way best thing you can do is wait and email him often

Been waiting for 13 months, emailing or PMing at least once a month. No product, and now, no refund.

I'm an accountant, and normally a very patient man. It is when I am ignored and lied to that I start to get irritated.

I just want this all to be over, and I will stop posting when it is.

I am alos waiting like I said before. I emailed him and he is not posting anymore. I saw pics of what should be my hawkeye arrow heads and they look great. Just need to have them in hand and we are cool.

I should have them in a few days.

the total process for me wasnt too bad. good communication and hopefully a promised product.

ah i can understand 13 months is along wait, i suggest tho that a secondary thread be made with what people are owed like say

Name/Item you bought/how much was sent

and maybe your email addy.

this is what i would do either way get correlated data on others who havnt got there stuff and see about getting it all sorted out

I emailed him on Monday ashe was supposed to ship my arrow heads...Priority...never got them or a reply.

I got my Jeanie Bottle shipped to me, but without the template for Painting the Bottle. Said he will have to look for it. I dont think I will ever see the Template. This guy is a great salesperson, fast, smoothe talker. Dont trust him. He did go to the Dark side.

I am in the same boat as Teecrooz, I am an active member on the replicaprops.com forum and have been a very nice and loyal customer to Rob for a long time. TWOC came over to Rob's forum and starting selling his props there. I sent $225 through paypal for a couple smallville props back in May 2005 & then $16 a couple months later for a kryptonite inhaler and have been very patient with Max. After waiting over a year without Max keeping incontact with me, I emailed him back asking politely for a refund. He ignored my emails, then finally responded saying he didn't have money in the account and it would take time for money to be put in. Two months later and he still isn't responding and hasn't sent anything. From my entire experience with Max, all he has done is avoid emails, make promises that he hasn't kept, and led on decent people into thinking he will have something to give them. Like Teecrooz, I have been waiting 14 months and have seen no progress in Max attempting to get us our products. I am no longer interested in getting any of his props, just reimburst which is not unreasonable due the patience everyone has shown for him.

"The statis of THEWRAPOFCONS Credibility" Thread:
http://p072.ezboard.com/ftheleagueofheroes...icID=3274.topic

[qoute] "O k. there you go several well trusted brothers are happy. Now if I could ask a favor,Please if anyone has problems Keep them private . As a wize man told me recently one little ripple could turn into a big wave all to quickly"[/qoute]

If anyone one has problems, keep them private???

So... that means no one will know of the problems they have with this guy, and he can go on screwing people out of money and props?

That is the most rediculous thing I have ever seen regarding online transactions and accountability of the seller to deliver items in a reasonable fashion.

And the original thread with his response that started the above thread.

http://p072.ezboard.com/ftheleagueofheroes...tart=26&stop=50

Perhaps the people owed here should start a "BOWJUNKIE" like thread of their own.

I love that he is now attacking me for wanting the item I paid for, or for wanting a refund.

"I am thnking about 3 weeks timm I am done and its molded. -Max"

So, like I said earlier, Max is keeping in constant touch with me and at least giving me some sort of ETA for my product. However I do know that some of you guys are stuck within a rock and a hard place waiting over 14 months, but starting up a witchhunt with a guy who still seems to be doing SOME kind of work may not be the best idea, especially if you want to see a possible refund or late item, but of course that's just my opinion.

I don't think it's right for anyone to wait 14 months for an item. Or in my case 3 months for a refund because he kept trying to delay the process by offering me all these things I didn't want, which was a refund. I eventually got it, but not without pushing him again and again because he seemed like he was stalling and not wanting to let go of the money.

I think "Max" spread himself way too thin by taking on all these projects. That's dangerous for anyone taking on multiple orders of many different items. BOWJUNKIE anyone? I mean if you can't get a product to a customer in a resonable amount of time and then turn around and vanish from a forum where you still have customers waiting... what kind of message does that send?

This isn't a witchhunt... it's a warning to anyone who might buy from him.

Oh I agree wholeheartedly. 14 months is hitting a certain dead zone, and I myself would be pretty PO'd at the same situation. Yet like you said, the problem is when people spread themselves way to thin by thinking they can knock out tons of projects and get the money pouring in, but then they start to realize that that simply isn't the case with most busy lives. However, the bad part is when threads like these start to put the pressure on dealers/makers and a lot of the time it's simply easier to ignore a throbbing mob of hostility than to ask for the patience to sort out the mistake of taking on too much. As much as Bowcaster is a hated dude around here, some of me thinks the guy just got scared crapless by the amount of people ready to send him to the gallows and headed for the hills himself. I say this because the guy honestly made an effort to right his wrongs and send people what he promised and posted for awhile. If he were a scam artist, I think there would be a lot less caring or sympathy on his part. But then again, I'm not in that debate and I probably shouldn't pretend to know what's going on there (so I'm sorry if that struck someone's nerves there. :( )

But I guess what I'm trying to say is, ya catch more flies with honey than with vinegar and all that after school junk. The moment you start lambasting someone over a means of communication less personal than the telephone, that's the moment you can kiss your product or refund goodbye.

Once again, not trying to be insulting or instigate trouble on the matter. :(

Finally heard from Max.

If you want a refund I will give you one however it will be when I have the
funds in my account, so I would think you would have your refund within a
month. Or if you would like I would be happy to send you all the box materials
and molds and you can see the problems I am having with the lid of the box,
your welcome to call me if you like. I am not out to screw you or anyone I (at
your request) posted a status report on these boxes and I have not heard from
you since, I have not been over to the RPF for months so any PM there I would
not have recieved, I also have not received any PM from the replicaprop
board as I get e-mail notification from that site when I do. I think it was
unfair for you to call em out as you did without trying to contact me via e-mail,
as I have never failed to respond to any e-mail sent to me here.

My reply:
Max,

I would just like the refund, and for you to update everyone on the replicaprops.com forum. They sent you their money and you owe them items, or updates until those items are done. Your last post was May 30th, and I believe your last post on the rpf was June 2. You had business deals there, so saying "I just havent' gone there" doesn't cut it. Do what you have to do to get this done and over with for the sake of all involved.

You seem to have plenty of people still buying from you on the LOH site, so it shouldn't take a month for the money to be available. I look forward to receiving it.

Chris

I finally heard back from Max. I Pmed him through League of Heroes. It looks like chasing him over here was the only way it would have happened. Below is my post over on LOH.

From Max:
"You know you post over here and on the RPF but you have not been in contact with me since I gave you an update several weeks ago. I am still working on these boxes adn problems keep coming up, with some parts of it. There also seems to be some confusion on how many people are owed these boxes, including yourself there are 4."

After you fail to respond on the replicaprops forum I started PMing you on the rpf. I joined the thread about people who were unhappy with your level of service. You leave the rpf and don't answer anyone. It must be my fault.

"I allways amazes me when stuff like this happens and is the major reason I dont go to the RPF anymore, the only people that seem to be concerned about my my buisness practices are you and a bunch of people that do not have any dealings with me. And the few people that have said they have had problems (yourself not included) neglect to mention how I took care fo the peoblem."

You haven't. No update on the product since May 30th, and no communication since June 2nd. I had to come here to "find" you. You just said yourself that you don't go to the rpf anymore.

"I would also like to add My thread on the LOH reguarding my orders is for just that my oredes here, If you want to post about stuf loike this start your own thread"

This is the first time I have ever been to the LOH. If you no longer post on either of the replicaprops or the rpf forums, how am I supposed to start a thread for you to go to?

"Also I want to bring up that this thread here on the LOH was started WAY before any ppost about me on the rpf."

We have a thread on the replicaprops forum that has traced the product since you started it in 2005. Your last update was May 30th.
