This was mine, it was sold not long ago :unsure
it was first a R2D2, then for Celebration III, I repainted it to a R5 X2 scheme as I like the dirty weathering
, and wanted to have it stand out between the other 60 or so droids :lol

the dome was made in two weeks, but looked pretty good, I really could go all the way with the weathering, and tried to copy all the details of the original R5 X2 as best as I could.
it survived the round trip from Europe to the States pretty good.

Just built this guy last month for a new years day parade:

Ive got a full sized mouse droid in pieces that still needs putting together but those guys are huge and ive no where to put him yet!

Womo68, That R2 is amazing! I can't imagine the amount of servos and controllers on that..

I bought the bare skins, dome and some misc resin parts off a fellow In Las Vegas that was going through a divorce about 3 years ago. The clincher was that the inner rear door skin was signed by Kenny Baker. Here he is today almost finished in a static state with some lighting. I got the BR blaster from a well know member here. Serial number 11 Sidkit.
