These are the droids your looking for! show us your droids.

Awesome droids :thumbsup What's the story behind them ?

Oh and by the way, aren't you friends with SithLord229 and Rasputin37 ?

This was mine, it was sold not long ago :unsure

it was first a R2D2, then for Celebration III, I repainted it to a R5 X2 scheme as I like the dirty weathering :), and wanted to have it stand out between the other 60 or so droids :lol

the dome was made in two weeks, but looked pretty good, I really could go all the way with the weathering, and tried to copy all the details of the original R5 X2 as best as I could.

it survived the round trip from Europe to the States pretty good.

here you can see it in action:

He's certainly not as impressive as those already shown, but here's my little R2 Unit, he's far from finished, but he's getting there

Cheers Rob. Didn't see that thread.
G not on the internet, so I am doing online research/ putting pics up etc. for him

I bought the bare skins, dome and some misc resin parts off a fellow In Las Vegas that was going through a divorce about 3 years ago. The clincher was that the inner rear door skin was signed by Kenny Baker. Here he is today almost finished in a static state with some lighting. I got the BR blaster from a well know member here. Serial number 11 Sidkit.
