The Walking Dead Season 3

I wish I could watch Talking Dead, but I can't abide Chris Hardwick.

i think that is why they cut back on his hashtag promos during the show....he mentioned on talking dead people were complaining about it or something..... so they were going to cut back on him doing it......

some of their guests are just awful....and i wish they stayed with the 30 minute run time.....the hour long talking dead show has a lot of flaws...segments are stretched long or delayed to pass the time.....

I felt so bad for the hitchhiker..He was no harm to them. Great episode..Shows that carl is stupid once more and Rick is still a dumb ***.

Well, we don't know that. Neither did they. That's why they have stopped trying to help outsiders because it's just so dangerous if they end up being psychotic.

S03E12??? What am I missing here...
Is it funny? Is it just too hip for me? Has someone reverted to their AIM haxx0r l33t speak days?

As mentioned SXXEXX is the standard for television show naming conventions

S = season
E = episode

Example: Walking Dead 12th episode called "Clear" would be...

S03E12 - "Clear"

Yeah, he might have been a pycho. But right now they need all the crazy people they can get on their team. Should of had Morgan whip up some bombs or something to use on the town.

CH is ok in my book, But I've been putting up with him for years on G4. I seen alot worst host out there. Get some real guest instead of bob from the roach coach and susie the temp girl from accounting. bring kevin smith back for some more

Watching the talking dead is fine with me although I have to agree on the guests.

Who the frak are these people? Where are they digging them up.
It's better when they have well knowns on the show along with
the stars of the show.

An hour long show to discuss an hour long episode of another show is overkill. Due to commercial breaks, we probably get more Talking Dead every week than Walking Dead.

The show is an hour long because people watch it, and love hearing and talking with their friends about the walking dead after the show. Talking Dead got more viewers last month at one point than ALL of NBC's shows. For the entire month.

THAT is why it is an hour long. No way in hell do they regret that right now. And while some of the lesser known guests are bad, some of them were great. Same with the famous ones. Kevin smith, for instance, sucked. He knew nothing of the material, and was clearly just there because AMC wanted to pimp out his comic book show.

And as for the person who said the "sword girl" developed a personality out of nowhere, you clearly are not a reader of the comic, are you?
She's exactly like she is in the comic. She was a loner, and had to survive with those pets for a loooonggg time before she met anyone else she could begin to trust. And the pets? They were her friend and boyfriend. It was great seeing her talk slightly about that to rick last night, and yet still not give away more info than she was willing. Many people on the show and in the comic give away far too much info to people that they can not trust, and then get screwed for it later. Michonne is more guarded, and more of an observer. In the comic, I think she was a lawyer before everything went down.

Bottom line though is that they are trying to stick to the comic as far as her being quite, and withdrawn. And a lot of us support that. Not everyone has to win you over with their personality every week. You also had issues with her "jedi" like sword wielding, which is her ENTIRE ESSENCE. That is what makes Michonne awesome. How someone could have issues with that is beyond me. She is a pure killing machine. And when she isn't killing in the comic, she's screwing.

The comic has a lot more backstory (especially regarding her beef and treatment by the governor) that lead to her being so reclusive, and unwilling to trust, and forceful with men sexually. But that may not be the way the show plays it. Either way, they are keeping her character traits in line with the comic as much as they can for the different story line, and a lot of us appreciate it.

Give her character time. She's barely been in the mix, and nobody trusts her. That changed with this episode. She'll get good development from now on, that is for sure. But don't expect her to lose the sword, or EVER become a chatty and happy person. it's not her, and never will be. And IMHO, it's what makes her one of the coolest characters on the show (and the coolest in the comic, since daryl was not in the comic).

Whether or not it's appropriate to the story or character that has been presented in the comic books, it played badly in the television show. I'm glad they're finally starting to Darylize her.

Lennie James made that episode worthwhile for me. I'm thinking somewhere down the road he will make it to the prison...as a walker.

Yeah that made me feel really uneasy. I would pick up anyone I could feed. If they turn out to be *ssholes you send them out to the walkers. It was especially dumb when Rick knows they are outnumbered by the people from Woodbury.

I've liked him since Jericho, but I had no clue he was British. You can't hear any accent at all; he's good. My dad was saying he thinks Rick might have gotten through to Morgan and Morgan might show up during the fight with Woodbury.

I just hope they took more guns than we saw! All I saw was a crossbow that Michonne had.

See, I think they made the right decision with the hitchhiker. It all ties in with "the meek shall inherit the earth." He was alone, unarmed, and making way too much noise. Judging from the evidence surrounding him in the brief moments he was in sight, he was a bad bet. His group probably sacrificed themselves and he got away and had no idea how to survive on his own. Not a good addition to the group at all.
