Definitely this. In the grand scheme, its not an amazing game and not a faithful Star Wars game since as mentioned, the saber is more a baton or regular sword rather than a laser sword of death. This was due to the fact that the combat system was based off FromSoft’s Sekiro parry system so the intention is for the player to parry the opponents, deplete their “balance” bars, then insta-kill with a strike or two which is more “lightsaber-like”.It's a solid game but definitely has flaws. I think a lot of the praise comes from years of EA giving us junk so by comparison this feels like a better game than it might otherwise be.
Wish I could help..So I got Cyberpunk 2077 for Christmas, and I don't understand it at all.
I don't know what I'm doing or why I'm doing it. Everyone is speaking in slang that I don't understand, but the character I'm playing does, which makes it more confusing.
Am I a thief, a mercenary? What am I? Why am I doing these things?
What am I doing?
I did a thing called BrainFarting, or some such nonsense, and I didn't understand it at all. I did what the screen prompts told me to do, without understanding a damn bit of it.
Does anybody like this game?
Has anyone played it?
Is it worth learning WTF is going on?
I can't get immersed in it at all because every single moment I'm struggling to understand what's happening and how to do things.
I feel like I need a college text book just to understand the leveling trees and inventory system.
I'm super frustrated.
I'm more Shadowrun than Cyberpunk, but there is a lot of crossover between the two universes and they share some of the same slang or very similar slang and players classes i.e.So I got Cyberpunk 2077 for Christmas, and I don't understand it at all.

You'll find out more about the plot of the game as you go along and there's definitely a plot to this game and one I liked quite a bit.So I got Cyberpunk 2077 for Christmas, and I don't understand it at all.

Sounds like with the checkpoint based save system it makes the game extra frustrating. I don't mind tricky game mechanics necessarily, but I do hate it when it's combined with a checkpoint save. To me, there's nothing worse than playing a checkpoint save game, having a hard time with a certain part, then die when you finally get past it only to find that there's no save point yet. I ran into that with the first Assassin's Creed and I uninstalled it out of frustration because of it.Ok so I finished the story part of Zeffo and moved on to Kashyyyk. Then I uninstalled. This game has some of the worst design I've seen in a while. The amount of places you get into only to discover "Uh oh you don't have the upgrades for this" is beyond ridiculous. They should block those areas. Then you have the play mechanics of die 5 times to figure out what they game designer wants you to do. Yes it's a play mechanic, but I should at least see where they want me to go. I'm talking the slides that take you around a corner and then you have to decide in a split sec where you're supposed to jump, without being able to see any indication of where to go. Not a fan. They should have copied the newer Tomb Raider games which did what they were trying to do, correctly. I'd say if you haven't played Jedi Fallen Order, buy or reinstall Jedi Outcast. It's a much better Jedi game.
More a relief for me...But I felt so safe every time I saw one
