For anyone who's interested, the short lived live action version of the Tick is now available for the paltry sum of five dollars. I recall having seen one or two episodes during it's first run, and it wasn't bad. Looking at it now, I can see why it was cancelled. Not that it wasn't good... It was just ahead of it's time. Not only is it entertaining, there's a few notable "cameos/before they were stars" characters as well. Highly recommended.

The live action or cartoon? SPOOOOOOOOONNNNNN. Honestly, i loved the tick (cartoon version) back in the 90's. It was one of my favorite cartoons because of how odd of a "super hero" the tick was let alone all his side kicks and villains...pure genius in my opinion lol

One of my favorite episodes had the Tick facing off against the Terror, a 112 year old retired super villain, played by Armin Shimerman. The Tick kept goading him into coming out of retirement. Finally the Terror had taken enough, and told the Tick he was going to "fold him into his wallet, and spend him on a (prostitute)" The first time I saw that episode, I had no idea what happened for about five minutes after that, being too busy laughing.
