The copper colored sectioned look identical to flexible conduit used on desk lamps. I used to have one about the same diameter. Phone cord would be difficult to get the paint to stick to. I also noticed it stops abruptly in some of the photos, if you look close at the first of a set of three shots it starts and stops several places. These are the best shots I've ever seen of this weapon. Absolutely awesome detail! More please! Love to have a functional prop of this.
