The Saint <> Simon Templar's Knife

Very very neat! I would love one of these! I am also looking for the Saint Lapel Pin.

I had to save up to get one of these. To do it right, you need to get the chrome finish, but it is REALLY expensive.

I love mine. :D

So what is REALLY expensive mean? How expensive? I may be interested for sure and where do you get one? I would love to either start of continue on a thread on the Halo lapel Pin. From what I understand, there is some actual movie props of this pins out there somewhere, I have never seen them, but would love one!
I am a real fan of the movie, The Saint. Funny it got such bad reviews, but I love the movie! I have seen it at least ten times!

In the top right of each message is a post number. For instance, this is post #103.

Go back in this thread to post #64 and it has the ordering information for the parts. You would have to paint the sections of the knife black and do the assembly.
Make sure and select the "Rhodium plated" and NOT the plastic version. They are ordered from Shapeways 3D printed, and mailed to you.

The computer screen decal and comedy-and-tragedy acrylic come as a kit from me for $10.

Yes, I can see... that is a bit pricey, especially considering you need to build it yourself, etc. To invest that kind of money and then mess it up in the build process would not be good.
I would really love to get one of the real props!

There were 6 different variations of the knife and maybe even more than one of each variation. So there are some actual props in existence. They are just rare.

The Saint <> Simon Templar's Knife

Hmm...I have one of the pins somewhere. Can't recall its origin but it was supposed to be an exact replica. Wore it all the time till it broke...kinda dainty after that and did not want to lose a part.

Re: The Saint <> Simon Templar's Knife

The movie was made in 1997, twenty years. In twenty years a lot of relics like the knife, the pins just flat out disappear! I still see some auctions out there for the pins, but again very hard to find and especially today after twenty years. Typically, props and things hang around good movies for about five years it seems and after that, they just disappear.
Another factor on this movie is that critically, the movie was a bit of a flop, however, I really enjoyed this movie and the actors.
I will continue to look for a real pin from the props, they do still exist out there... just have to get lucky.
