I know this one has been done to death already, and general consensus is that no Plastikote Heritage Gold went anywhere near the Sonic prop.
However, I'm alittle confused about an aspect of the TARDIS that I noticed from a pic from the recent Doctor Who Experience, and had pondered on from the DVD's. Let me explain...
Now, this is definitely a refinish from the Original Eccleston era Tardis. But there is no doubt about it. That is Plastikote Crackle Touch paint. Now, as the Sonic Screwdriver was meant to have been an extension of the TARDIS's technology, wouldn't it figure that the Sonic was finished in the same paint?
The Eccleston/First Season Tennant was certainly not Plastikote finished. But it may have been that they did finish one in Plastikote...
