Actually I think the hood was in fact made of rubber. There's a scene at the end of the movie in which he takes it off. I remembered there's a shine and thickness to it that made me think it was rubber.
Great costume. Nice to see other people like the phantom

The mask is made from thin rubber and is easily moulded to fit the face. The cowl is made from the same ribbed material as the suit and sits really nicely on the head. This suit was just a prototype and if i was to make another it would be alot more movie accurate. The whole suit would cost $450- if anyone wanted to buy one. I can also make the original Phantom costumes as well. If anyone is interested just PM me.
