The Ood [Doctor Who]

Last night, my wife suggested that I dress up as an Ood from Doctor Who for Halloween. I was floored.

So I'm in the inquiry stage now; does anyone know where I might find a close-enough looking suit?

And, any suggestions on how to make the tentacled mouth? I'd like to avoid casting anything, as I don't have moldmaking materials on hand.

What about painting coiling (for making fabric baskets) with liquid latex for the tentacles? It comes in several thicknesses and you should be able to taper the ends.
