This is sad. On every level.

I mean even past the obvious, the music and schtick, but the costumes?

Those aren't movies used, so what are they? Pulls from the molds and then just jacked up? The bodies look different, etc.

My eyes can take the SW Holiday Special, but this tmnt thing is just nasty.

I wonder if that was linked to the "Turtles Coming out of our Shell" music tour during one of the summers? The tour was a part of a Pizza Hut campaign.

Its been nice seeing a few throw backs to the original Turtles in the past few years.

Would be nice to see the violent turtles again.

Yes, that's exactly where the suits came from, the live "concert" appearances. "Live" as in totally pre-recorded like the Sesame Street costume character arena shows.
