The Official Boycott Star Wars Bluray thread

JD and micdavis, I literally can't wrap my head around how you aren't bothered. You love the movies, but you're ok with them being changed all the time?! And then mic, you act like people who are upset are LESS fans than you are? Because we're bothered that something we love is being altered? How are we LESS fans? If anything, I can't understand how a true fan ISN'T outraged. I hope Lucas's level of hell includes boiling Nazi bukake, if that "no" is true.

Is it so hard to understand?

I'm tired of whiney fanboys. (especially ones that use Nazi)

EVERY remotely SW related thread degenerates in GL bashing.

ENOUGH.

Not to mention this round is over something that probably isn't true.

Ha ha, now we're arguing in two separate threads! I'll have to restrict my comments to the boycott thread...

If he didn't suck now as a creator, he wouldn't be bashed. He deserves every bit of it.

You're a bitter fanboy who can't get past it.

He's stinking rich, you're posting on an internet forum.

Sorry, I just have more respect for GL than you.

See at the time, the technology to write the word "Nooo" twice in a row wasn't ready.

LMAO....

Seriously....This sucks. This was also an incredible scene for me. Out of all the series my favorite. It was perfect as it was. I used to get goose bumps watching it. Now it is changed for me. Ruined. Just incredible. At least give a longtime fan a choice for crying out loud. And for those who don't give a hoot....fine. It is always a personal thing on different levels for different people. I just found this scene to strike a deep chord for me watching it...now it isn't there....Thanks George.

I see...you watch Star Wars with dollar signed coated glasses. Your as shallow as card board cut out.

not our fault he keeps degrading the greatest franchise ever made.

There is a secret vault at the Ranch.

Inside are the masters for the cleaned up OT.

The door has a special lock. It can sense when whiney fanboys are whining on the internet. It will remained locked until it no longer can sense it.

It's your own fault.

:lol

You assume I care about your opinion.. but at least we have a icon for you now...

:darnkids

Replace "accept it" with "take it" and "fanboy" with "film lover." That's how I see things. If anything, a "fanboy" is LESS critical. This is FILM HISTORY here. Not geek nostalgia, cultural heritage.

While hearing the same complaints over and over again gets old... I have to agree with the majority of the complaints. I just try to avoid the Star Wars discussions these days, though. lol. :behave

The good thing about all this...I am laughing my ass off reading the talk back over at Aint it cool......THIS for example....:lol:lol:lol

Star Wars for Dummies...

At the climax of the film Vader has a change of heart and stops the evil emperor from killing his son Luke. We notice this change of heart because Vader says "no" and then exclaims "no!" again as he throws that evil man to his death. Prior to adding these lines, casual viewers and even hard core fans never understood this weight of this moment in the trilogy. THANKS FOR DUMMING IT DOWN FOR US YOU BEARDED OCD FREAK!

"And we're gonna go to Alderaan, and to Bespin, and to Naboo, and to Dantooine, and to Kashyyyk, and we're gonna go to Coruscant and take back the Jedi Temple... yeeaargghhhh!"

I choese to believe this is a clever fake until it's confirmed. (Which lets me neatly sidestep the ongoing argument for the time being.)
