Yeah toy prototypes can be safely ignored at this stage. Mattel will surely be coming out with day-glo pink Batman, transparent "invisibilty suit" Batman, and zebra-striped "NO CROSSING" Batman. :lol

Besides, I believe that crosshatch might be meant to represent the fabric inbetween the armour - so it's in the wrong place if that's the case.

prototype or not, I'm glad to see they did away with the cape clasps. At least to the point that they're not noticeable
