Love the book and movie. Only thing this would have to be a 1 -2 season show. I don't want to see it dragged out or some dumb love story crap. Monsters attack and people die while trying to survive.

Next, "The Shining" will be remade as a version of "Hotel", where people come and go while the Torrance Family helps them deal with their problems, all while trying to hide the horrible dead woman in the tub in room 237 and the other ghosts that pop up to cause problems. The hedge animals will be able to talk to young Danny and help him with his young life issues, all while trying not to eat him. Hilarity ensues!!!

Agreed, or at the very least have it all worked out ahead of time so that when they do eventually get cancelled they can end it properly without having to scramble to come up with an ending.
