I'm interested in any cast parts you manage to make for this project, Frank Ippolito

I also managed to buy another less used Wild Country vision harness which leaves me with one I'm not gonna use and might sell for the same price I got it for.

I think I am going to try and take on making some of the knee / elbow / ankle pieces on my printer. Not much of a modeler, but will see what I can do. I am really enjoying working with my printer, but that has all been printing other people's stuff so far. Has anyone done anything yet? I am willing to print anything on my printer.

The suit and helmet don't actually connect. The helmet just slides on and gives the illusion of connecting.

It looks to me like the hoses on the left might be what I have on the right. this is a 1/2 inch hose covered in "wire loom". usually used to bundle electrical cables.

These are the same hoses on my oxygen masks. Common aviation 02 hoses. And no I dont have the make handy hahah.

Below is a similar fitting but you get the picture. Every manufacturer is different....company A mask wont fit company B walk around bottle.

I'm offering the webbing I have in my store now. Jump over to the patch thread to see more pics if your interested.

Nasa covered some of the compounds found on Mars which wold be a nightmare to get right, I wish they sold martian soil but that would blow a hole in my wallet.

Shouldn't be too difficult replicating the movie look considering the red sand that's actually on it is from Wadi Rum, Jordan. I tried searching online if there is anyone selling the sand but then it hit me, who the heck buys sand online?

This place sells the Martian soil simulant NASA uses for experiments.

That is amazing. $37 shipped to me is not bad, I am sure 2 pounds is enough to get a nice look going.....although it would be super authentic (to the story) to use a sand blaster with that stuff to actually sand blast the suit. That might be going overboard, but still... Might just have to stick to rubbing it in by hand mostly.

Someone had previously asked for measurements on the Nautic Cobras many pages ago, in order to extrapolate the sizes of other parts. So here is what I came up with:
NauticMeasurements_New.jpg
All measurements in mm.

Edit: Actually ignore the top measurement, that will depend on the width of the other part of the buckle. The latches change angle, so the total width will change.
