The Mandalorian - Cara Dune Medal from Chapter 12

Hey all!

In Chapter 12, Cara Dune receives an honor medal of sorts from that New Republic pilot. I decided to recreate the medal in CAD. The main goal is to sell the file or print of this on etsy so I can make money for my Mandalorian armor build.

Here is my progress so far:

I am having a really rough time getting the curves right on the rebel alliance logo. Any tips (I am using Solidworks)

Going to assume the dots around the circle are actually the stars of the New Republic logo.

Impressive!
For the two inner angled curves. I was going to suggest a cut away cone angled down ward’s from a distance above the surface. So that they meet at the crest of the single outer one.

for the curves i'd recommend building the that shape using Surfaces, make some offset plants and draw the peak of the logo and then use the boundary surface and fill surface tools to make the shapes, then you can knit the surfaces and make solid and combine with the base body
