I've made many, many different replica Batarangs and other Bat-gadgets. Every once in a while I try to design my own version. There have been so many variations on the Batarang, I've wanted to come up with my own.
I drew 10 or 15 sketches of different ideas and this is the one I liked best. A prototype was made out of wood. When I was happy with that I made a mold and cast them out of colored resin.
The advantage of making molds is that I can put a number of them on display and give the illusion of a limitless supply of disposable Batarangs. So, here are the pictures, take a look and let me know what you think!!!!!
