So, we know we all like to watch movies over and over again, and sometimes, you still catch new details you never noticed before.
Stripes: It just dawned on me yesterday. Russel in the sit down with the troops toward the start of the movie states 'I'll have your back every step of the way'. I just noticed this joke subtly pays off later when he's the first to decline the rescue emission as soon as it's mentioned.
Ghostbusters -
1- At the End Celebration, that's Janine rushing up to Egon. you can also faintly hear 'egon! your safe' under the overly loud music cue.
2- During a far away celebration shot, I think as louis is being towed away to the ambulance, you can see either an alternate cut, or different camera angle of the venkman/sigourney kiss happening in the background.
3- As Egon is scratching his chin, he's the one giving the slimer capture prices to venkman.
4- during the stay puft walk sequence, you can see a support crane attached to the actor in the stay pufts suit to help him keep balance as he walks.
These are just a few of the 'new' things I've noticed along the years....along with some other things that always stand out when viewing movies.
I think in ROTJ, one of the Imperial storm trooper extras that is supposed to be 'captured' by the rebels, is seen just quietly talking with his head nodding, like he's not sure he's on camera ;o).
