Yes. The body didn't incinerate down to bone either. Just laid there like a recently slain legendary saurian.

Thought it would be fun to have a dog as well as my follower. Turns out not so much, tho.
Damn thing was worse than Lydia for blocking doorways, pinning me in corners, etc. Also tended to die easily - not surprising when it kept going nose-to-nose with dragons and then running into any area-effect damage that was thrown at them.

I'm not liking it.. Just bought it this morning and now have to buy another 2 Graphic Cards, as my 460's aren't doing the job, brushes warped etc..

I lowered the Graphics on the game so I can play, and damn, I'm addicted.. Spent 15 hours yesterday playing, and am just about to start playing again today where I guess will be another 15 hour shift..

Found a couple of quests that have glitched for me, one involves reporting success to someone, but whenever I talk to them all I get is generic comments. Another requires me to confront a murderer; I can beat him down to zero health but then nothing, he won't talk and I can't do anything. After a while he gets up and we repeat ad nauseum.
Oh, and I crafted some armour, improved it and enchanted it, and suddenly it lists as stolen? How can it be when I made it?
First really annoying errors I've found. The guards comments might be repetitive (as are the near-identical models for all the kids), but I can live with that. And the mamoths dropping from the sky is more funny than anything else, but I'm hopping there's a new patch soon to fix my broken quests. Meanwhile, I've got plenty of others to get on with.

I too have a broken quest, where i need to get information on a Skooma dealer...when i retrieve the docs from the satchel, the quest says they are still there.....so i can't conclude it.
Louis Letrush, i've seen him killed twice on the roads and he's always back at the whiterun stables....with a clone sunk half into the ground beside him...they both talk to you too.
I fast traveled to Dragons Reach....went to Jorvaskr...and there was a woman walking in mid air about 8 feet up.....
Had a dragon glitch where it kept flying backwards and forwards and getting stuck and refused to be killed.....
Mind you, i've had 102 hours of play out of this so far....so i don't mind....

I thought i would take a break from questing a little bit so i dumped Lydia in my house in whiterun.
Left all my good gear in a box and took a some clothes and shoes and a small dagger and bow with arrows. And went of to be a ordinary Hunter without any hero uber warrior gear...just an ordinary Joe.
So..
I left for the woods and down by the windmill outside whiterun, Almost by where the forest begins i spotted my first prey....I spotted a sabertooth or maybe a wolf in the distance.....I started to sneak at it.......drawing my bow as i got closer.......Now i could see that it was a big wolf standing at the big outcrop........I stopped as i saw turning to face me.....
I armed my bow... Tried to get the wolf in sight.......Figuring out how much the arrow would drop over that distance so i aimed my sight a bit over the wolf....
Just about to fire the arrow....
AND A HUGE FREAKING DRAGON FLY'S DOWN AND FLAME ATTACKS MY WOLF!!!!
GOD!! That's what i get for trying to be a ordinary Joe.... Left outside with crappy gear, Just a non magical dagger and bow.......an a just a few poison potions that did 15 damage.....
I went Geronimo on that (female dog) and thanks to it being distracted by some old lady and a guard (both of which the dragon killed) I was successful at killing it. WITH A DAGGER!!
After that crappy start at my hunter adventures i did not spot a dragon until I went home and got to go questing again.

Hey anyone that can bring down a dragon with a dagger is ok in my book.
I encountered a dragon, got him a few times with the folmer bow and orcish arrows then switched to the two handed flame and ice combo. Then a bear popped out of nowhere and the dragon started fighting the bear. I then switch back to arrows (to save up on my magicka) an start shooting him in the butt. Meanwhile wolves show up and my horse starts chasing after them....I had to wander around for like 10 minutes looking for my horse after I killed the dragon.
Btw there are 3 pretty cool iphone apps for Skyrim -
* Dragon Shout - a detailed map of Skyrim which allows you to mark areas you've been and keep a journal of the different things that you've encountered or items you've found.
*Mappz skyrim edition - this is also a detailed map which includes every hutt, ruin, city, tower, campsite etc found in skyrim. Click on the icon and it takes you to a wiki site giving you a description and history of the locations. You can also add you own locations and add a description if it hasn't been discovered yet.
* skyrim alchemy- two roller type charts on alchemy.
One roller allows you to select a specific engredient and the gives you all the potions you can make with that ingredient and the other engredients needed.
The other roller allows you to select a specific type of potion effect and then gives you the list of required ingredients.
There's also another app which has a collection of every book found in skyrim...can't remember the name of the app though.

Just completed this game, Awesome!!
I have lost many an hour playing this. Despite all the bugs and occasional crash great game.
However was bitterly disappointed with the ending of the main Quest line!

haha very similar thing happened to me the other day
found a dragon attacking a giant and a mammoth and thought to myself " I might take advantage of this" so I joined in on the fight.
making sure to be careful not to hit the mammoth or giant I managed to kill the dragon but on the second last arrow I just missed the dragon and HIT THE GIANT DAMNIT!
run around long enough to absorb the dragon soul and then ran out of stamina when it came time to get out of there
yeah I died
