The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

At the same time? That's pretty cool. I'm still early on in the game, so I only encounter three dragons on separate occasions. The first, I hid behind a boulder until the final blow since I knew I wasn't strong enough. The second, I got ambushed and was about to die when the guards nearby helped me out. The third was in the middle of nowhere. My poor horse died, but I was able to kill it without even getting close to half my health gone.
yes I ran into two at the same time, I was no match for them

Especially right now.. the last patch removed all magic resistance from the game, so you're incredibly susceptible to any magic, including that used by dragons.

Around the time the patch hit, I was in a fight with a bunch of mages. I'm not wasting a thousand gold worth of health potions on the fight, I'm waiting for the next patch (supposed to be this week) that fixes the issue. The game is effectively unplayable for me like this, so I'm simply not playing until they fix it.

I ran into a Blood Dragon that would have killed me and my companion if not for the fact it made the mistake of setting fire to some mammoths nearby. Between the mammoths and some ranged spells we took it down.

Then I had to run from a giant for accentually hitting one of the mammoths...

as a stealth focused character, dragons are still not easy for me. but the other day I ran across a stray dog that followed me as a companion for a while. a dragon jumped us and the dog held its attention on the ground while I shot it with arrows and it died super fast. the dog was basically unhurt. I need to find him again, he was awesome lol

I'm finding combat as a mage is pretty easy. Double cast destruction spells are pretty devastating to most mobs. With my House Jarl keeping it's attention, I can pretty much fry a dragon with lightning bolts.

yea as stealth, most things are super easy. i go thru dungeons 1 shotting people with arrows and never being seen. its just a playstyle that doesnt really work on the dragons haha. I can take them first try usually but its not fast. shoot 1 arrow, run/hide from breath, repeat. then when they land its easy. that and I usually dont have a companion cuz they run off while I tell them to wait while im sneaking around lol

I just finished the MQ. There was one enemy I had a really hard time to beat with my mage, I guess you who done the MQ might know who I mean. I tried everything and thought beast form wouldnt be allowed, but did it a go. One good swing and down he went, and then I was all over him. Thank god I went for werewolf. :D

I can't wait to see some of the player housing when the SDK comes out. They all leave something to be desired, mainly in the area of convenient storage close by the work stations. Plus I'd like to have all work stations in a convenient location, including forges, leather frames, smelters, etc.

.......why wouldn't you type that in google? Like... it just tells you in the first result.

Anyway, 'This shrine is located in the mountains due west of Solitude.'

After finnishing the mq, I made a new character. A nord that like big swords and doesnt think twice about stealing. He joined the stormcloaks and 30 h in the game is very different. I have only replayed one quest so far.

I havent been so hooked on a game since Morrowind. Great stuff!

So yesteday I fast-travelled to a "Kill the giant.." quest. Get there and see a Dragon marker on the compas. Great, I thought, lure the dragon to the giant, let 'em kill each other, done it before.
So off I head towards the dragon, get close enough to get it angry, tease it towards the giant's camp. Just started throwing fireballs at it while it frost-breaths the giant, when a huge shadow passes over... screw me if there isn't a SECOND dragon circling overhead!
Two dragons and a couple of angry giants... yeah I died.

BTW anyone had the glitch where a dead dragon doesn't give you a soul? That was anoying.

I've heard a lot of bad things about this game and glitches even more than normal for a Bethesda game.

The only annoying glitch I've seen is the talking system. You point at an option but when you click it jumps to another.

I've had the dragon soul one too, but honestly when I got to around level 50, I had like, ten spares anyway.

Well, I became a vampire. It sucked (no pun intended). I found the guy to cure me and filled my black gem stone. Then I became a full vampire and couldn't go near a village without me attacked. So I had to feed. Finally found someone sleeping and managed to go back into the village to get cured. Only took me about an hour and a half. Ugh...glad I'm back to normal though!

I'm having a tough time getting into Oblivion. I've had similar problems with all Elder Scrolls games. I'm hoping Oblivion will be more enjoyable than Daggerfall or Morrowind were.

No wonder I enjoy Skyrim so much! Something ELSE Solo4114 hates. Oxygen, water, Mom, baseball, apple pie, moving picture shows, fire, the wheel... Solo hates them all.

At this stage, I feel really comfortable taking his pans as endorsements.
