The DEFINITIVE TDK Joker Costume Thread/Project

Very nice indeed! The main selling point for these will be how they look with the makeup on, as mentioned.
Lets see those pics!!

*walks in and looks around*

Man, I want to order my stuff from Magnoli realy bad. :lol

You should! His stuff is top notch and he's GREAT to work with. I've got two of his wolverine pieces (belt buckle and dog tags) and his work is fantastic. He's a great guy to deal with, I'm just saving for one of his X-O jackets!

Oh, I want to very badly, but I'd like to have a little bit of money saved up! :p It's driving me crazy how bad I want it....Gloves, tie, pants, and coat. :D

Worth every penny. The best anywhere. No Joker impersonator should be without Indy's wardrobe.
I his tie, vest, shirt and the gloves are coming to me soon. I am going after the pants next, but debating on the topcoat. My blazer that I got from an asian seller on Ebay is great so I won't need to replace that. I'm also getting a swatch sample of the topcoat fabric to better help my decision to replace my existing coat.

Alright guys! Picture time! My silicone scars didn't work well as i couldn't get the edges to work out and I didn't have all the proper materials at the time of application.
SO, I used some Bondo-Transfers... This was a first time use of this material for me so let me know what you think!

I then threw the makeup on over these to see what it would look like. I'm unhappy with this makeup job as I had to do it with rubber mask grease paints, a sponge, and a q-tip...

These are just to show how the makeup looks over the transfers. I'm going to be doing another photo shoot utilizing a pair of transfers on another friend in NY who looks just like Heath so I'll get pics up then.

At that point I'll have my aquacolor makeup back and can do a makeup job that looks more like this one (on the same model as above)

Alright guys, I got all screwed up on my V2 but am already workin on V3. V2 will simply be only for the Bond-O transfer method and V3 will be fully encapsilated Gel 10 silicone tinted with flocking. I'm redoing the sculpt right now based on the picture of the real deal sculpt that I somehow missed a few pages back in this thread. I just finished mapping out my scar size/template on my lifecast in pencil and will do the sculpt tomorrow. I should have a prototype set in silicone in about a week pending my other scheduling conflicts. More to come. In the mean time, let me know what you think of the V2 transfers!

I think they look very nice. I have always been a big fan of bond-o transfers, and I think your effort was very well done. I'm sure we will all be watching the gel 10 progress with interest. Keep it coming!!

Here is a great full shot I thought you guys would enjoy, sent by one of my customers:

Kind regards,

Aye, that's "the captain", Jack Sparrow as I know 'im. Looks good Indy! :D

P.S. - (I've officialy got money for my pants and gloves, just a bit and I'll have the mula for the tie. :D And this weekend or next I'm having "the annual fund my Halloween project" garage sale. So mabey I'll have enough for your coat. :D )

It's nice to see a pic of someone wearing one of Indy's coats. Really helps 'sell' it as far as I'm concerned.
I think I'm only going to be able to afford to upgrade to the pants this year.
B89 - your scars look very good. Can't wait to see what you have in store coming up!

Oops, forgot to reply about that! :confused

I agree, they do look realy nice! One thing I might comment on though, on the right scar, isntead of being a slit, it needs to be more "open" towards the mouth, and steadily "close" as it gets to the keloid bumps. :)

I'm glad you mentioned that - I noticed that myself. The next design should have this detail. Excited to see what comes next!

Alright boys and girls, here's where I'm at so far with V3 and I'm lovin' it already over my V2... Anyway, I'd love a few critiques before I skin detail but I'm gonna have to do that soon because I want to get this molded by either Friday or Mon... SO, on to the pics...

What do you think?!

I think they look excellent mate. The only thing I can see that needs altering just a touch is the laughter crease on the left scar. I think it should be a bit more curved. Also I think the gouge of the left scar could be a little narrower. I think if you alter both of these you'd be 100% spot on.
