I just made them a little wider, and then curved the edges so they aren't just straight. Then I made undercuts for the muscle shapes. Here's a rough drawing of what I mean image.jpeg I freehanded the bottom cuffs and put them around the base, adds length,depth, and you can tuck in the hand wraps.

Yesterday the Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman suits came to Barcelona and I took detail pics from Batfleck's suit, so I thought it would be cool to share them here.

Keep in mind, the statues are not accurate to the movie suit.. Purposefully.
They were painted a certain way completely separate from the film. They are close "base" forms but still, an inaccurate representation

iv heard the real suit is foam with the pattern printed ontop and not material at all but who knows till some details start spilling out.

It's different for many reasons.. To intentionally mislead? To keep the secrets for the movie?

Because the people that painted the statues weren't the ones who painted the real suit? Mike painted seven statues in one day.. There are going to be variances. There have been many versions delivered with the intent to mislead. Variations of a theme... Clearly it worked. Look back on this thread. Most of the information here is wrong. That's a fact.
If you want to copy the statues.. That's cool.

You want to match the film used suits? If you were genuine about your curiosity?
You should talk to the people who made the suit, and learn what they actually did. There were two.. Yes TWO, dressers for the film that trained with Ironhead. Find them, and ask yourself? They aren't hard to find.
Just a thought..

As for the suit being foam and not fabric? Not a chance..

tbh it was just what id heard before about the foam i didn't think that was the technique used, all id really like to know is how the pattern was applied and what materials was used so i could try and replicate it somehow but if not i wouldn't mind just copying the statues because they look just about the same which is fine with me.There probably was loads of batsuits used in the movie and of course they would all be different in one way or another but that does not mean they look drastically different to each other.
as i said i will just haft to wait to see what details emerge.

I personally don't care too much. I prefer the "blue" from the statue, even if it's not accurate. I think it looks better. But even the cowl looks a bit different than the one from the movie. I dunno, in the statue it looks more "slim". But anyways, so far, the best possible way that I see the suit being replicated on cheap budget, is just some fabric with black and silver puff paint on top. It seems to work fine honestly. Just gotta have some patience and the right color paint.

For anybody that likes to use their touchscreen phones but dislike removing their gloves (especially now with the Batfleck hand wraps), I recommend AnyGlove. I used it on my leather gloves and now they're almost as good as my fingers.

Thought I'd very roughly put my dye sub suit on top of my muscle suit and tuck it in around the muscles. I do plan on gluing both suits together in the end. Love the way the silver shines in the right places. Not done painting though, only have about the torso done. Anyways, let me know what you guys think. Criticism is definitely welcome. awesome work. I dont know if anyone saw it but UDreplicas has their Batman DoJ Suit....looks good for reference material.

I wish i was talented enough to make a suit. Sadly I have to resort to buying one eventually

Ugh...knowing this is what my suit could look like if I did this basically means I have to give it a shot. Why are you doing this to me?
